Product Overview
Celebrate the sweetness of bedtime, the innocence of childhood, and the peaceful moments spent watching a little one sleep with this charming While I Sleep Vellum Quote Strip. Measuring approximately 3" x 8.5", this delightful design features whimsical, vintage-inspired typography and a heartwarming poem that beautifully captures the magic of bedtime, twinkling stars, and sweet childhood dreams.
This vellum strip features the touching poem “While I Sleep” by Patsy Gaut, offering a charming interpretation of the beloved nursery rhyme “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” The poem begins with the familiar words “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder What You Are,” followed by the beautiful imagery of a sparkling star high above the world, shining like a diamond in the sky.
The poem continues with the imaginative sentiment “In my hand I hold a ray of star shine plump and bright as day,” adding a whimsical touch to this sweet bedtime message. The closing words, “And often through my curtains peep, will sweetly watch me as I sleep,” create a peaceful and comforting image of a little one drifting off to dreamland beneath the gentle glow of the stars.
The playful black lettering and creative arrangement of whimsical fonts give this design a charming, nostalgic appearance that beautifully complements precious sleeping baby photographs, bedtime memories, and childhood scrapbook layouts.
Printed on acid-free vellum, this translucent strip allows your photos and patterned papers to softly show through, adding layers and dimension without overpowering your design. Use it as a full overlay, a vertical journaling accent, or incorporate it into baby albums, childhood scrapbooks, handmade cards, and other meaningful keepsakes. The classic black-and-white design coordinates beautifully with virtually any scrapbook paper collection or color palette.
